There are rare moments when you find yourself not doing anything at all. During these rare moments, you find yourself with options: do i sleep? pick up on an old project? or just sit and stare?

I chose the staring part. It’s weird. When it’s all quiet and you have nothing to worry about and you pause. Then thoughts come in your head and you start to think of things–things that you never had the time to dwell on.

When you decide to walk away,

would you look back?

Is there such a thing as going back?

Tsk. Tsk. Idle time is bad. It makes you think of things that you normally wouldn’t think of. Hehe.

Necklace: Beads with capiz pendant, Robinsons mall

This was only one show. But I am already okay with one show. At least for this year that is. First-timer, I won’t deny it. Hehe. I was like a little girl on Christmas Eve. I was just so giddy! (Thank you again, Jeffie and Pao Pao for the invites!)

*This is me trying to take shots of the show. But i couldn’t*

I was just in awe and before you know it, it was done. So, boo. No great photos during the night. Hehe.

*Watched Marlon Rivera’s show with Pao and my brother. πŸ™‚ *

Met the nicest people, Jeff and his friends are sooo funny and nice. Saw Rica with her officemates, Nante with his officemates, Sir Ron Capinding and my brother introduced me to Mr. Frederick Peralta!!! Wow. Just wow. And as though things couldn’t just get better, we capped the night off with a fabulous and delicious meal at Sugi with Marc. Oh, such a great joy!

*This was actually my plan B outfit*

Although I was not able to wear what I originally intended to wear, I think the plan B outfit worked well. Most asked me why I wasn’t in a dress. haha. Well, I’m not predictable! Hahaha.

My main point, is that I would wear this pair of shoes no matter what. So, it worked out well. hehe.

This is one night to definitely remember!

I was feeling a little blue the past few days which sucked all the energy and creativity out of me, ergo, I wasn’t at all productive. When I told myself to snap out of it, I decided to wear something cute and fun.

Also, since Matts mentioned it to me, here it is, I am now smiling. haha. I also had a little fun when I took the photos. πŸ™‚

*It’s going to be a…*

We all have our ways in creating our wardrobe for the day. Usually, for me, the shoes make the outfit but more than this, mood plays a big role. We usually hear people say that their outfit depends on their mood at that moment. I think it’s a two-way street, you can actually help change your mood (especially when it’s leaning on the negative side) when you wear bright or fun outfits. It did help me! Hehe.

*…bright, bright…*

*…sunshiney day!*

Actually, the weather is just confusing! Last week, when I woke up, the sun was suddenly gone and weather reports announced a storm passing by Manila and North Luzon. But then there were moments that were sunny. Confusing, confusing weather.

I do love the rainy weather (too) because it gives me a reason to pull-out the trenches and layer, layer, layer. Had I worn this with boots and a black trench, I could claim it as channeling Kate Moss, but for this one, maybe, just a semi-Kate Moss.

The glasses on the other hand is very old. It was actually my dad’s which we just found by accident in my mom’s drawer as she was cleaning up the entire house. Yes, my father was as thin as I was and so the glasses fit me perfectly.

I saw photos of my mom and dad when they were about college students and man, they were both so thin! My mom was actually thinner than I was!

*Kudos to Dad for owning such a wonderful pair of aviators!*

It’s such a great find isn’t it? I wonder how it looked like when my father wore it because I remember my mom’s face lighting up and transforming into this dreamy state when she saw this pair (after a loooong time now). Haha.

Why is it that when women wear men’s clothing, it becomes more fabulous and chic? Haha! Wore this at work and a night out (not really clubbing, just a movie and fabulous dinner at John and Yoko) at Greenbelt. πŸ˜› Oh!! Just a side note, watch “Miss Pettigrew lives for a day“. It is sooooo great. (and watch out for Amy Adam’s wardrobe there! πŸ˜‰ )

IT is SOOOO HOT here at work. ayayay! Anywho, I was just actually finding another reason to wear my yellow belt and this pair of slacks that i adore.

There is something about mixing corporate-y pieces and casual pieces that I love.

Here it is! The StellaLuna shoezies! During my birthday, I picked this outfit since, I wanted the day to be both happy and relaxing. The dress was versatile enough for the high-end feel of Adora down to the spa and salon trips. I love this day!

Look at the box, definitely different from all the other shoe boxes I have. I find it amusing on why they chose such a title. hehe.

Last Saturday, I found myself wearing the same piece of clothing in different colors and different events. When I like a particular piece, I buy them in 2-3 colors. Hehe.

Anyway, I wore the white ensemble during the day as I set about my mall duties. πŸ™‚ (ooh! and I was actually able to buy a cute little dress. But more on that on the next post).

When I got home, Rica called me up asking if we can have a girls night out clubbing. Being in a rush, I slipped into the black version of the dress.

So, we were meeting up at Kia’s pad, when I arrived there, I was stunned and confused as Matts revealed a cake and everybody sang me a happy birthday. Aww.Β  πŸ™‚ The party was a casino themed one because I REALLY like to go to a casino! Hehe. Poker. Chips and liquor slushies.

Snagged this photo from Kia:

Thanks so much guys!!! ❀

LastΒ  weekend, I needed to visit Trinoma. I was hoping to watch a movie but we ran out of time. Hehe. Since it was a mix of hot weather and the cold cinema air, I decided to wear this Bayo dress that I love so much!

Moreover, I lost my I2I sun glasses during my trip at Malaysia. I think I left it at the hotel. Anywho, I decided to look for a pair and after searching at Aldo and Charles & Keith.. I found the one at Mango. Nice trade-off for losing the old ones. πŸ™‚ hehe.

If there’s something as safe as the tiny black dress staple, it’s the plain, white polo. Although, now, with a fashion environment that’s so fluid–you can work up the white polo. White polos are a favorite staple piece of mine. I think I have a lot of these in my closet… Hmm…
