Yep! I’m back! I’ve been trying to rest the past few days and the sick version of me isn’t at all fabulous (hehe), so, I decided: No photos. Hahahaha. Oh, the vanity!
Anyway!!!! I finally wore my Juan booties! I wore this to Chikka’s Movie Fund Raising Blocked Showing of Transformers. Great great movie by the way!
* While everything around me is a blur, I try to keep myself clear *
* Everything is moving too fast. The world is spinning out of control. *
* And I try to stand still as I hold my place–not wanting to fade away. *
Been having one hell of a week! Gahd. The effort.

First of all, sorry for the absence. I have been bed-ridden during the first half of this week. Ugh. disease. Been struck by the common colds and cough.
Anyway, before being struck by the cold, I met Juan. This is Juan:
Adorable! Got it on sale at Janilyn. ❤
When I saw it, outfits flashed before my eyes! Hahahahahhahah! I can’t wait to wear ’em!!!!
There are some rare days, when I feel like I want to look androgenous. Very rare days. It kind of looks powerful and hot hehe.
Or maybe it was the weather? Since it was really raining hard the entire week last week… Hmm
Or is it my frustration to wear a tailored suit? (like those white ones at the Red Carpet)
Or maybe, I have been watching too much Bones, that my addiction (and crush) with a Special Agent is taking over me.. Hahahahahaha!
For whatever reason, I do love this look (and the attitude / feeling that comes with it–but not on a daily basis). It was like wearing a costume again. 🙂

THAT I DON’T HAVE! Waaah. The Black Clutch is as important as the Little Black Dress – a definite MUST-HAVE. Oh, but life can be cruel sometimes! hahahah! Hay… Frustrations. Hehe.
Okay, so it’s not as if I don’t have one. I do have one but it retired due to old age. So, my quest for the Black Clutch begins now. Hehe. The bag at the top-left side is my #1 choice. LOVE it. The others, well, just in case I cannot get my first choice.
Pretty, isn’t it? Hay… Wish I could get this soon. *fingers crossed*
Bags: Black Clutch from ALDO
Forgive the pics, I took this in a different time of the day. And I was hurrying the editing (I fell asleep hehe. I am actually a little giddy while writing this down).
When I was told by my officemates, that I looked Roman-ish when I wore this, I thought, moods do influence the way I dress, I didn’t realize that sometimes, I do wear stuff in a theme– like a costume of some sort.
I do love costume parties! Oh, do I miss those days! I’d totally dress up in a specific theme or character. “Themed Dressing”, I guess, is part of my nature. Could it be the theatre background?
I do love costumes, conceptualizing them, looking for them, re-creating them. I guess when my emotions or mood are just to vague (or when I’m just pretty bored with my life, hehe), I do dress up in a “costume” and live in it for a day.
It IS fun! Clothes or rather our own fashion style/statement do influence how one walks, talks, and feels. Themed or Costume-y, I think we should just be able to determine, if it’s just inspired by a specific era or character OR when you’re already looking like a kid going to a Hallooween Ball?
The things we discover. hehe. Hmm… I wonder if I have stuff that can be Greek-inspired…

There are rare moments when you find yourself not doing anything at all. During these rare moments, you find yourself with options: do i sleep? pick up on an old project? or just sit and stare?
I chose the staring part. It’s weird. When it’s all quiet and you have nothing to worry about and you pause. Then thoughts come in your head and you start to think of things–things that you never had the time to dwell on.
When you decide to walk away,
would you look back?
Is there such a thing as going back?
Tsk. Tsk. Idle time is bad. It makes you think of things that you normally wouldn’t think of. Hehe.
