It is soooooo hot! Summer has landed! Time to keep those jackets in a box and bring out all the shorts and tank tops. I love summer as much as I love the rainy season. During summer I get to wear those tank tops and shorts the way they are supposed to be worn without feeling cold. No layers to hide ’em!
It’s time to hit the beach or the pool, whichever you choose. Another thing that I love about summer is that I get to ride boats going fabulous beaches where you can just slow down, think about nothing and relax underneath the sun or walk around the shoreline with just the moon and stars as your guide. An advantage of living in a tropical country, you can never run out of beaches to go to! So, since, I’ve been itching to leave and take a break, I thought I’d welcome summer with a navy-inspired outfit.
I can’t take my mind of the road trip, the wind, the sea, the sand and all that jazz. I can’t wait!!! Vacations are sort of an escape. More than the family vacation, I’m thinking of trying to travel alone this summer. I’ve never done that…Maybe, this year is the year to do it.
Just pack-up and go!

Forgive the pics, I took this in a different time of the day. And I was hurrying the editing (I fell asleep hehe. I am actually a little giddy while writing this down).
When I was told by my officemates, that I looked Roman-ish when I wore this, I thought, moods do influence the way I dress, I didn’t realize that sometimes, I do wear stuff in a theme– like a costume of some sort.
I do love costume parties! Oh, do I miss those days! I’d totally dress up in a specific theme or character. “Themed Dressing”, I guess, is part of my nature. Could it be the theatre background?
I do love costumes, conceptualizing them, looking for them, re-creating them. I guess when my emotions or mood are just to vague (or when I’m just pretty bored with my life, hehe), I do dress up in a “costume” and live in it for a day.
It IS fun! Clothes or rather our own fashion style/statement do influence how one walks, talks, and feels. Themed or Costume-y, I think we should just be able to determine, if it’s just inspired by a specific era or character OR when you’re already looking like a kid going to a Hallooween Ball?
The things we discover. hehe. Hmm… I wonder if I have stuff that can be Greek-inspired…
